Take a look at our cancellation policy
Cancellation and no-show fee policy for drivers
As consideration for your time and effort, drivers receive cancellation and no-show fees.
Cancellations by passengers
If a passenger cancels when you've already started driving, you'll get a cancellation fee when either:
-
At least 2 or more minutes have passed since the request was made
-
You're on track to arrive within 5 minutes of the original estimated arrival time
Cancellation fees are paid 100% to drivers, which means you keep the entire amount. Fees are added to your weekly payout and shown on your earnings.
Passenger no-shows
You'll receive a no-show fee when:
-
You've tapped to arrive at the pickup location
-
You've contacted the passenger (you've called them or they've called you)
-
You cancel the ride, then tap 'Passenger isn't here'
Drivers will receive a waiting fee if riders have requested that they will need the driver to wait on standby once arrived, charging $ x per minute varies
depending on the type of vehicle that is requested by rider, starting at $0.25 per minute for Ariv Taxi; This also stands for stop and go riding, for example if you need the driver to stop at a store and wait for you.
Driver cancellations
Cancellations are a bad experience for all parties, so we recommend using discretion when cancelling rides.
Drivers can cancel a ride by tapping a list few reason why. Canceling to many rides that are giving to you will decrease your rating system, we advise all drivers to stay above a 4.5 rating to avoid being deactivated.
More on cancellations and acceptance rate
When a passenger cancels or is marked no-show, your acceptance rate won’t be affected.
If a passenger contacts you saying they don’t need a ride but they’ve already requested it, ask them to cancel the ride on their end.
If you've arrived at a passenger's pickup location and they don't show up after you've tapped to arrive, try to call them and ask 'would you like me to wait a little longer' if yes, begin to use the waiting timer button.
